on Saturday evening ,20th December 08, the concert of the Messenger Band collaborated with Kandal Stoeung authority, Women Net Work for Unity (WNU) and Key Organizers(DIC), was conducted in PutiRam Pagoda in Bong village, R'Ka Commune, Kandal Streung District, Kandal Province.
After some songs were spread out, the empty place becomes crowed.
At least 14 Songs and 3 role plays were perform with the message of working exploitation, dangerous job; farmer situation which effected of Chemical fertilizer, debt issue, migration and Violent against women. Seem the law is not helpful. And the worker is still under threat. And one more attractive show is Message parade show and question & answer which involve audiences to test their understanding.
The speech of the deputy governor and women representative about situation of women in R'Ka commune, made the audiences more interested within the show.
"Land and life" music video was also play in the middle of the show.
There are over 500 people were joint in this event from several villages in Kandal and Kompong Speu,( Boeung village is the border of Kandal and Kopong speu province.)
It is really encourageable & supportive from authority and it is easier for further advocacy. He willing to help and facilitate if MB want to perform any where of Kandal province or other provinces.
There are similar event also happend in Kok k'Chorck, Prey Veng province and Ampov Prey, Kandal province.
